What Would Jerry Do? began as a one-time tribute honoring the legacy of Robert Hunter in 2019 and quickly grew into a long-running musical gathering rooted in community and shared history. Featuring members with deep ties to projects like The Quiet Riders, The David Bromberg Band, and more, the group brings a thoughtful, lived-in approach to the music of the Grateful Dead and the Jerry Garcia Band—along with the occasional unexpected turn. Presented in the intimate setting of Godfrey Daniels, this performance invites listeners to settle in, listen closely, and experience these songs through a fresh but deeply informed lens.
