“Stage & Song- A Musical Theatre Workshop” is a dynamic and intensive session taught by Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) Artistic Director of Vocal Music, Erica Dickson. Participants will focus on building musical theatre skills with a focus on singing as well as performance practice with basic acting and choreography. They will also learn about the different eras of musical theatre as well as explore contemporary American musical theatre. Participants will work closely with the instructor to prepare solo songs, duets/trios, and a full group number to present in a showcase at the end of the week. Session runs July 7-11, 2025/ 9 AM -12 PM daily. This workshop is perfect for both beginners who are interested in getting started as well as more advanced students looking to hone their craft. It is also a great way to work with other young artists from the Lehigh Valley and beyond.Open to ages 12-15 (An older student may be considered on an individual basis). This workshop is part of Charter Arts’ Summer Academy, a program of arts enrichment workshops for kids/teens that is open to the community.
