Philly Nelson arrives at Godfrey Daniels with a deep affection for the music of Willie Nelson and the songwriting greats who shaped American roots music. Led by Daniel S. Bower, this collective approaches Willie’s catalog not as imitation, but as an open exploration—honoring the songs while allowing space for interpretation, spontaneity, and shared discovery.
