FREE Art Reception: Alumni Exhibit featuring the work of Alexandra Schnabel

The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) Visual Arts Department invites you to its Corpora Gallery, located on the school campus, this Friday, March 7th from 6-8 PM to view two great exhibitions!!! This FREE reception is part of the Southside Arts District’s First Friday celebration! The Alumni Art Exhibit featuring the work of Alexandra Schnabel will be on display along with some highlights from the department’s Black Excellence Exhibit, featuring the work of David Johns III & curated by Berrisford Boothe, which opened in February. Alexandra Schnabel works to explore the wonder of perception within her paintings. After graduating from Charter Arts in 2014, she went on to the Pennsylvania Academy of The Fine Arts earning a BFA in Fine Art, with a Concentration in Oil Painting. The school’s Black Excellence Exhibit opened to a packed house and rave reviews last month and the visual arts department is honored to include highlights from the work of Baltimore based artist, David Johns III, as an extension of that exhibition.
