Come out and enjoy an evening filled with creativity and inspiration as the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) Literary Arts Department presents its “Showcase at the Lodge” on February 6, 2026, from 6-8 PM at Cafe the Lodge. This special event will feature a diverse range of original student works, from poetry and prose to short stories and spoken word. This FREE event will also include an Open Mic segment, inviting community members to share their own creative expressions. For over a decade, Charter Arts has proudly partnered with Cafe the Lodge to host these monthly literary events, which are part of the Southside Arts District’s First Friday celebrations. Literary arts students at Charter Arts work closely with published and award-winning faculty to explore the dynamic relationship between literature, writing, and performance. Their studies prepare them for future careers as poets, novelists, playwrights, and more. The program’s college-level curriculum offers an ideal environment for students passionate about honing their craft and pursuing careers in the literary world.
