Fig Authentic: Jess Miño

“This work is where I feel I’m supposed to be.”

For Jess Miño, every breath, cup of cacao, and moment of stillness is an invitation to return to what is real. As the founder of Good Vibes Wellness, she draws on ancestral wisdom to help people reconnect with their self-sovereignty in a world filled with external pressures.

“With the technological world we live in, there are certain things designed to disconnect us from ourselves,” Jess said. “Once you open the door, you get to know yourself more and can begin discovering your actual potential.”

Jess founded Good Vibes Wellness after witnessing the stress of the corporate world take a toll on her coworkers. What began as weekly meditations deepened after Jess experienced her first plant medicine retreat, which clarified that her career path was not aligned with her soul’s purpose. But the path wasn’t only about witnessing others’ pain; Jess was also navigating her own. Grief, fracture, and a long road back to herself became the ground on which her practice was built.

“I hope that through this work, people can tune into what their truth and power actually are,” Jess reflected. “This practice and the wisdom of my ancestors allowed me to reconnect with myself.”

Guided by Amazonian and Andean lineages, Good Vibes Wellness blends centuries-old Indigenous wisdom with modern somatic mindfulness to help people move beyond simply “managing” their stress. Through sound medicine, immersive meditations, breathwork, and cacao ceremonies, Jess plays a pivotal role in helping people return home to themselves. The cacao she works with comes directly from Ecuador, honoring a living relationship between the medicine, the people, and the earth of her ancestors.

Jess also recently launched Anyi Apothecary, a line of botanical mists and oils drawn from Amazonian and Andean plant traditions. Each one is an ancestral ally, created to carry the plants’ wisdom into everyday life long after the ceremony ends.

“It’s been amazing to guide people to the tools they need to grow,” Jess said. “This work is where I feel I’m supposed to be.”
