Creating an environment of recovery & wellness

The Lodge is a full-service café staffed by its program participants

Established in 2010 by Resources for Human Development and funded by Northampton County, Café the Lodge is a welcoming third space that empowers adults living with mental illnesses to thrive in their own unique ways while dissolving barriers to success.

Located in Bethlehem’s SouthSide Arts District, the Lodge is a full-service café staffed by its program participants. They serve fresh coffee, teas, and a full menu of wholesome breakfasts and lunches, while also offering customized catering options for events and meetings.

All funds raised from the café are directly reinvested into programs, which provide participants with essential resources such as supported housing, education, and vocational opportunities. The Lodge also features a vibrant gallery space showcasing rotating exhibitions by artists in recovery, as well as local community and student artists throughout the year.

Café the Lodge is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 7:30am–3pm, Friday from 7:30am–8pm, and Saturday from 9am–3pm.
