If you’ve ever looked at a glass of wine and wondered what you’re actually tasting, this is where things start to click. Wine 101 is an approachable introduction to understanding what’s in your glass through your own senses, learning how to see, smell, taste, and feel your way through a wine with confidence. Join us at the Winehouse for a guided mini-session led by our team. You’ll explore how each of your senses can reveal something different about the wine in front of you, from its appearance and aromas to its flavors, acidity, texture, structure, and finish. You’ll also learn how to put those observations into words and better understand what your senses are telling you. Think of it as a crash course in becoming more intentional with your senses and understanding what’s in your glass. No experience or extensive wine knowledge required. Just bring your curiosity, an open mind, and a palate ready to pay attention.
