LITERARY EVENT: Sophomore Showcase at LV Charter High School for the Arts

The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) Literary Arts Department will hold its annual Sophomore Showcase on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 6:30 PM. Guests will enjoy poetic and prosaic selections of student work, fantastical un-birthday confections, and a night of whimsical adventure! This is a FREE event. Donations are welcome. Students of the literary arts department engage in a comprehensive writing curriculum with courses such as Character Development, Exploration of Modernism & Postmodernism, Children’s Literature, Film Studies, Exploration of the Romantic Style, Media Studies, and more. Literary Arts Artistic Director, Kristin Liemberger, shares: “Students write and analyze creatively and critically, experimenting with their own creative voices in the construction, production, and performance of original works. This intensive program provides students with a rigorous curriculum rooted in the creative process while reinforcing that reading, writing, film, and the spoken word are integral parts of the history and advancement of society.” ABOUT THE LEHIGH VALLEY CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS (Charter Arts): Charter Arts is an audition-based public charter school that provides a comprehensive curriculum for high school students, grades 9-12, who have a dedicated passion for the creative or performing arts.
