The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) Literary Arts Department in collaboration with Café the Lodge, have created a space where stories are shared and heard in this monthly literary series. Students will present a variety of original work from poetry and prose to fiction and spoken word. Community members are warmly invited to step into the spotlight as well by signing up for the Open Mic portion.

This is a FREE event. Donations welcome.

ABOUT THE CHARTER ARTS LITERARY ARTS PROGRAM: High school students with a passion for the written word are finding a creative home here at Charter Arts through our comprehensive and dynamic Literary Arts program. The Literary Arts program at Charter Arts immerses students in the relationship between literature, reading, writing, and performance. Working alongside published and award-winning faculty, students develop their craft across a wide range of genres and mediums—from poetry, fiction, and comics to television, film, and screenwriting—while presenting their work on real stages, real screens, and real pages. The curriculum is ideal for students aspiring to careers as poets, novelists, screenwriters, and storytellers of all kinds.
