Author Talk & Book Signing: The Life of Charles M. Schwab

June 17 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

Join us for an engaging evening exploring the life and legacy of Charles M. Schwab, one of the most influential and charismatic figures in American industrial history. Once praised by Andrew Carnegie as a genius and dubbed a “master hustler” by Thomas Edison, Schwab rose from humble beginnings as a stake-driver to lead some of the most powerful steel companies in the nation, including Carnegie Steel, U.S. Steel, and Bethlehem Steel.

This author talk from William Huber delves into the complexities of Schwab’s character, his ambition, charm, and contradictions, offering a vivid portrait of a man who helped shape modern industry.

Attendees will gain deeper insight into both the rise of American steel and the larger-than-life personality behind it. The talk begins at 6:00 PM and will be followed by a book signing. A limited number of copies will be available for purchase on-site, and guests are welcome to bring their own copies to be signed. Reading the book in advance is encouraged for those who want to get the most out of the discussion.
