The creatives behind Fig
Meet the designer, photographer, and writer who bring each issue of Fig Lehigh Valley to life.
Guy Daniel, Photographer
A visual storyteller with a global lens, Guy Daniel is Fig Lehigh Valley’s primary photographer. Originally from abroad and now based in Northampton, Guy has called the region home since 2019, serving clients across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.

Through his lens, Guy captures the voice, personality, and heartbeat of the community members featured in Fig. What he loves most about the role is its dynamism. “New people, new places, new themes—every shoot is a fresh story,” he said. His remarkable adaptability means nothing derails a session, no matter the challenge.
Some of his favorite Fig shoots include artistic portraits and food photography. Beyond Fig, his ultimate passion is glamour and beauty photography—a specialty he honed during his years in Dubai, where precision in lighting and composition became his signature.
Jamie Volansky, Designer
As an award-winning art director, Jamie Volansky challenges conventions and delivers unforgettable design by combining conceptual thinking, a keen eye for design, and a profound passion for all things creative. Her work is a testament to her belief that every blank canvas is a launchpad for impactful design.
A Bethlehem resident since 2015, Jamie made a bold move from a small town in New Jersey to find her home. She brings her extensive talents to Fig Lehigh Valley, where she skillfully crafts each page to showcase the inspiring achievements of small businesses. With every issue of Fig, she celebrates a community she cherishes—a genuine passion project that deepens her appreciation for the region with each new edition.

Dakota Reinike, Senior Editor

Dakota Reinike discovered her passion for storytelling while studying film at DeSales University. Since graduating in 2018, she has worked in screenwriting and editing for ASR Media, earning four Emmy® nominations along the way, and now contributes as a writer for Fig Lehigh Valley. Based in Roseto, Dakota skillfully crafts stories highlighting local businesses, nonprofits, and changemakers.
“I always love seeing everything come together when we proof the final drafts,” she said. “It amazes me how everyone’s hard work creates a gorgeous, finished product.”
