At Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast PA, we believe access to nutritious food is a human right. Second Harvest provides nutritious food, offers nutrition education, advocates to end food insecurity, dismantles barriers to create access, and works to attain food justice.
Share our Strength’s Cooking Matters® is a six-week cooking and nutrition education program. Courses consist of weekly interactive classes that cover meal preparation, food budgeting, grocery shopping, and nutrition, with curriculum focused on kids, teens, adults, and families. Second Harvest offers Cooking Matters® courses at community organizations throughout Lehigh and Northampton counties.
