Fig Giving Back: ProJeCt of Easton

In the heart of Easton, there's a place where futures are rewritten, hope is restored, and resilience is celebrated.

For 57 years, ProJeCt of Easton has been a lifeline for individuals and families navigating hardship, offering immediate support and the tools to build long-term self-sufficiency. Their free programs break down barriers that prevent people from accessing the help they need.

Through six core programs—Adult Education, Family Literacy, Student Success Program. SIZZLE!™, Summer Literacy Camp, Emergency ASSIST Program, and full-choice Food Pantry—ProJeCt serves more than 7,000 individuals each year, reaching community members from all walks of life and more than 40 countries. What unites these individuals is a shared determination to move forward, and ProJeCt is there to walk beside them every step of the way.

People come here because they want a better life for themselves,” said Keith Lampman-Perlman, Director of Development. “ProJeCt is here to provide resources so people can help themselves. It’s a hand-up, not a hand-out.”

Success stories unfold daily—adults earning GEDs, children discovering the joy of reading, and clients securing job interviews. Every client is matched with a case manager who provides personalized guidance with compassion and dignity.

As the need for services grows, so does ProJeCt’s vision. A bold capital campaign is underway to unify all programs under one roof, replacing the current multi-site model with a centralized location that expands access, enhances efficiency, and deepens community impact.

Whether through donations, volunteerism, or simply spreading the word, supporting ProJeCt means investing in a more equitable community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Learn more or contribute at projecteaston.org.
