Fig Authentic: Jennifer Mindock

Jennifer Mindock, founder of Jentle Land Mark, an online marketplace for ethical lifestyle good, plans to eventually open a storefront to further her mission of fostering community and representation

A Lifelong Advocate for Change

For as long as she can remember, Jennifer Mindock has been an advocate for making a difference. Always rooting for the underdog, her life has been centered around inspiring change while simultaneously caring for the earth.

After losing her job during the pandemic, Jenni found herself reflecting on her life and what she wanted it to become. She saw an abundance in boutique shops, but realized that customers often do not know the people behind the brands they are buying from.

Building Jentle Land Mark

As the founder of Jentle Land Mark, an online marketplace selling ethical lifestyle goods, Jenni fused her passion for supporting sustainable businesses with giving women of all ethnicities and backgrounds the representation they deserve. Jenni features makers from all over the USA and Canada that align with her mission and celebrate diversity.

I don’t need to uplift only myself; I can do the same for others and still be successful,” Jenni said. “Women don’t get enough credit. We’re the backbone of society and I want to do my part in making sure I’m uplifting others.”

As a trailblazer from a family of strong, successful women, Jenni is dedicated to creating a space for others to be seen, heard, and valued. She is proud to have been enriched by diverse cultures and backgrounds and wants others to share that same experience.

“I find a lot of my passion in wanting my friends and family to feel safe,” Jenni said. “If I can help in creating that space, that’s what I want to do.”

A Vision for the Future

Although Jentle Land Mark is currently an online marketplace, Jenni dreams of furthering her mission by eventually opening a storefront, allowing more female and minority-owned businesses to be featured and have a seat at the table.

Fostering community, advocating for change, and love for sustainability are just a few of Jenni’s multiple passions. However, she emphasizes that people don’t need to stick themselves in a box to be successful.

At the end of the day, why do anything that dulls your sparkle?”
