Blooming in Bethlehem
Here, opportunity and community are always in bloom.
In Bethlehem, energy blooms year-round. It’s a city where entrepreneurs plant roots, take risks, and grow something meaningful. Creativity pulses through historic streets as neighbors champion small businesses and ideas flourish with community support.
Meet three inspiring women who embody this spirit as they lead their Bethlehem businesses.

At The Yoga Loft in South Bethlehem, studio owner and director Rachel Abott has spent 20 years building an inclusive wellness community for all ages. Now, by expanding to the North Side with Oasis: Community Wellbeing Hub, she is broadening that mission to encompass physical, mental, and emotional well-being—complete with a tea and juice bar and free mental health resources. For Rachel, blooming in Bethlehem means watching seeds planted years ago grow into supportive spaces that ripple outward and strengthen the community.
Brianna Lasko, owner of Lovely by Brianna, chose her hometown as the place to build her dream. Her Main Street boutique offers beautiful, unique home décor in a relaxing setting, adding joy and a fresh perspective to the local shopping scene. The shop reflects Brianna’s Bethlehem pride, and growing a business here is a deeply personal way to bring something special to the region she loves.

At From Lino in West Bethlehem, founder and pastry chef Melanie Lino blends bold Dominican flavors with European baking techniques and local ingredients to create intentional, unforgettable experiences. Her panadería celebrates Dominican culture and is rooted in connection. Bethlehem’s support for small businesses has allowed her to experiment, step fully into her voice, and revive neighborhood gathering spaces for a new generation.
Bethlehem’s strength lies in stories like these. Rachel, Brianna, and Melanie are just a few visionaries who choose to live, work, and play in Bethlehem because the city makes growth possible. Here, opportunity and community are always in bloom.
