Harford Plein Air Festival

Plein air painting captures the beauty of Harford County’s rolling agricultural land, waterfront destinations, and historic downtowns. Professional artists from across the United States participate in the Harford Plein Air Festival, culminating in three days of gallery sales beginning September 11.
Join juried artists and community members Saturday morning for a Quick Draw Competition! Artists pick up their canvases and have two hours to complete original works. If you are inspired, bring your easel and participate in the community portion of the competition. Artists can be spotted throughout the historic tree-lined streets or at the Bel Air Farmers’ Market, a producer-only market.
Bel Air Festival for the Arts

One of the largest single day events in Harford County, the Bel Air Festival for the Arts is an annual tradition for residents and visitors alike. With approximately 300 artists, photographers, and craftspeople, the festival is a great opportunity to refresh your home for fall or to get a jumpstart on holiday shopping with unique artisan-made gifts. The festival boasts musical entertainment and plenty of festival food to round out your weekend.
