A ten-year promise—BSI Corporate Benefits and the future of ArtsQuest

Two organizations, one neighborhood, and a shared conviction.

On Bethlehem’s South Side, two organizations have spent years demonstrating what it means to show up for the same community. One fills the neighborhood with music and runs art classes and workshops year-round for people of all ages, while keeping a significant portion of its programming free. The other ensures the people behind that work can do it without interruption.

That is the quieter side of what the BSI Corporate Benefits team does. Benefits consulting is, at its core, about people. It’s about making sure that the educators, event coordinators, artists, and administrators at places like ArtsQuest can go to work without worrying about what might happen if something goes wrong with their health or well-being.

Over the years, the relationship between BSI and ArtsQuest has grown. These two organizations have found that they believe the same things: the Lehigh Valley is worth investing in, the people who live and work here deserve institutions that take them seriously, and showing up consistently matters more than showing up loudly.

In fact, when BSI gathers for CORE, the firm’s flagship annual summit, it has done so at the ArtsQuest Center—a choice that is intentional. Organizations bring their people to the places they believe in.

Now, both organizations are investing in what comes next. Steel is rising on Third Street, where the ArtsQuest Creative Factory powered by PPL, a $32 million, five-story hub for visual arts, education, and community creativity, is taking shape. The building was designed to carry its history forward. Its brick exterior and steel framing echo the industrial character of the surrounding neighborhood, built in part from materials salvaged from what stood there before. When ArtsQuest launched the Re-Imagine That! Capital Campaign to fund this project, BSI made a ten-year commitment. The fifth-floor balcony will now carry the firm’s name: the BSI Corporate Benefits Balcony at the ArtsQuest Creative Factory powered by PPL.

Two organizations, one neighborhood, and a shared conviction that the best way to support a community is through continued investment. That has always been the foundation of this partnership.
