Get Your Tail on the Trail

COME ON OUT TO GET YOUR TAIL ON THE TRAIL and earn free stuff while getting active and healthy in the great outdoors!

St. Luke’s University Health Network and the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (D&L) have teamed up to help people of all ages and abilities meet their personal fitness goals and experience the outdoors. By tracking your progress on an easy-to-use free online app, you can participate in day-to-day challenges and public events to earn prizes as you get healthy.

You can walk, run, bike, use a treadmill or stationary bike, and even swim laps.

The award-winning program is free, and just one of the collaborative healthy lifestyle initiatives between St Luke’s and the D&L.

The D&L is a 165-mile nearly continuous trail built along a railroad bed that runs from Wilkes-Barre to Bristol.

Get Your Tail on the Trail (GYTOT) is an outdoor health initiative to track progress and transform health one mile at a time. You can log steps on the D&L, in your local community, or even while you’re on vacation.

To get started, simply register online for free at and log your miles. The 30/30 Winter Challenge 2024 in February kicked off this year’s challenges. Every mile logged during one of the challenges counts towards great incentives too.

You can use many locations in addition to the D&L trail. Any miles you exercise can be logged, even those on cardio equipment at the gym.
