Celebrate Winter with the Greater Easton Development Partnership

The Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to enhancing Easton’s economic and cultural vibrancy, working toward making it a model of a livable, welcoming small city. This holiday season, Easton celebrates its rich heritage with the 2024 ornament honoring the Easton Area Public Library and a festive winter wonderland in Centre Square, featuring holiday huts, ice skating, and special events. These efforts reflect GEDP’s values of collaboration, hospitality, and community pride, making Easton a top destination for both residents and visitors.

From November 23 to December 22, experience the magic of the season as Easton’s Centre Square transforms into Easton Winter Village every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Explore 40 festive huts brimming with one-of-a-kind gifts and tasty treats. Glide across the skating rink with friends and family while enjoying live holiday music, ice carving displays, and more. Don’t miss the Peace Candle Lighting and Small Business Saturday on November 30. Plus, visitors are just moments away from downtown’s charming shops, diverse dining, and holiday cheer that make Easton the ultimate holiday destination.

Unveiling the 2024 Easton Holiday Ornament: Historic Easton Area Public Library!

The 2024 Easton Holiday Ornament celebrates a beloved local landmark—the Easton Area Public Library. Since 1902, this historic Carnegie library has been a center of learning and community connection, welcoming over 170,000 visitors each year. Located at 515 Church Street, the library has evolved to serve Easton’s growing population, becoming a resource for educational programs and local history, including the revered Easton Flag.

This year’s ornament is available at shopdowntowneaston.com, the library, and select local retailers. Proceeds support the Easton Main Street Initiative’s efforts to revitalize Downtown Easton. Celebrate a piece of Easton’s rich heritage and support the community—collect the entire ornament series!
