Just In: 2019 Fig Bethlehem Social Mission Partner

We are excited to announce our 2019 Fig Bethlehem Social Mission Partner: Café the Lodge! Café the Lodge provides Supportive Housing for Mental Health Consumers of Northampton County in Bethlehem.

At Fig, we believe in the power of a community that works together to identify needs and find solutions—one that creates connections and is passionate about helping its neighbors. We believe in the mission of the Café The Lodge—our 2019 Social Mission Partner. Please consider supporting and surrounding them this year.

“Café the Lodge is thrilled to be Fig’s Social Mission Partner of 2019,” said Ian Panyko, Director at Café the Lodge. “We are looking forward to showing the valley that the employees of Café the Lodge are the faces of mental health recovery!”

Café the Lodge provides housing in Bethlehem, a supportive community and vocational opportunities for adults with mental health challenges.  According to  individual preferences, the members live independently in scattered rental properties in the neighborhood. Café the Lodge offers flexible jobs and daily educational and recreational programs.  The program is largely consumer-run. The Lodge supports its members to establish a wholesome lifestyle and affirms their self-determination and inherent ability to create productive and meaningful lives.
