The Look: Upbeat Comfort
The environment at Apollo Grill is upbeat, yet comfortable.
“Apollo Grill is comfortable with lots of great energy,” said Rachel Griffith, Owner of Apollo Grill. “We are upbeat, a little trendy, all while keeping it sophisticated!”
There are cozy tables, outdoor seating, and a gorgeous bar. No matter what you are looking for, this restaurant has it. From a night out with friends, to an intimate date, Apollo Grill can be your destination full of flavor.
The Menu: A Fest Of Flavor
“Our menu is eclectic yet familiar,” said Rachel. “We have something for everyone. We specialize in appetizers and cocktails, but we literally have the best burger and nachos in the Valley, too!”
In addition to the mentioned items, the menu has a delicious lineup including soups, salads, pizza, pasta, entrees, and dessert.
Check out the Beef Brisket (barbecue caramelized onions, cole slaw, pepper jack cheese, on sour dough bread), Chicken Breast With Acorn Squash Ravioli (artichokes, roasted tomatoes, marsala cream sauce), or the Crab Stuffed Shrimp (in tomato herb butter).
“Our menu is unique because you can come here for a filet and a nice glass of wine, or stop in for wings and have a beer,” said Rachel. “Our menu really is large and diverse.”
Plus, the team at Apollo Grill prides itself on serving a large variety of wines and cocktails.
Behind The Kitchen Doors With Chef Jordan Van Wert
We chatted with Executive Chef Jordan Van Wert to discuss his experience and why he likes adding his culinary passion to the Bethlehem community.
“I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a chef while I worked for a catering company,” said Chef Jordan. “I then entered the restaurant world as the kitchen manager at Marblehead Chowder House before coming to Apollo Grill as the head chef in 2015.”
He emphasized that there is always room to grow, learn, and add to the experience.
“The Apollo Grill inspires me to be a better chef,” said Chef Jordan. “The reputation of working at such a quality restaurant makes me want to only get better and try even harder. The opportunities are endless.”
It’s the customers that are the main focus, and the team at Apollo Grill is dedicated to high quality service.
“I love the feedback from our guests,” added Chef Jordan. “I enjoy providing quality and consistent meals while always striving to get better.”
Bethlehem continues to thrive—and Apollo Grill grows with it.
“The Apollo Grill has been a staple in the dining scene for almost twenty years,” said Chef Jordan. “I am incredibly blessed to be apart of this team in such an amazing city. I am excited to see the Apollo Grill continue to grow and evolve as the city of Bethlehem does the same!”
