Ultimate Foodie Guide: 10 Places You Have to Try

Ten. Yes, you will have to visit 10 restaurants to complete this Ultimate Bethlehem Foodie Guide. But let’s be honest—who wouldn’t want to go on an epic foodie adventure?

    Let’s begin!

1 – Artisan Wine and Cheese Cellars

Red wine, handcrafted artisan cheese boards, and a full menu from the Wooden Match! We can’t get enough of the incredible array of tastes here. Grab some friends and make it a party–you don’t want to miss out on this.

    2 – Apollo Grill

Nestled right in downtown Bethlehem, the Apollo Grill is the perfect spot for your next dinner party. From upsale bistro (like the delicious Crab Stuffed Shrimp or Panko Crusted Sea Scallops) to unique cocktails (we love the Strawberry Cheesecake cocktail!), you can find it all. Plus a lively atmosphere makes this a destination you have to try.

    3 – EDGE

This all-scratch kitchen does it best: preparing foods right from scratch. A combination of Asian and French tastes, EDGE pushes the boundaries of flavor to deliever cuisine both modern and classic. From Sauteed Angus Beef and Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps to New York Strip Au Poivre and Salted Caramel Chocolate Tart, the menu is packed with flavor from appetizer to dessert. Our mouths are watering.

4 – Fegleys Bethlehem Brew Works

Family-run and urban made, this restaurant is perfect for a pair or a party. Shareable appetizers like the delicious Bavarian Pretzels and Hand-Pressed Pierogies have us ready for Saturday evenings. And don’t miss out on a whole line of unique mac-n-cheese options like the Buffalo Chicken or the Jalapeno Bacon. Don’t believe us? You have to try it for yourself!

5 – McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar

With authentic Irish and British Isles food made from scratch, a full bar, an extensive Irish and Scottish whisky menu, and a family-friendly atmosphere, McCarthy’s is the place for a true Celtic experience in the Lehigh Valley. Classics like Bangers and Mash, Fish N’ Chips, and Guinness Lamb Stew add to an already huge menu full of options that’ll transport you right to an Ireland pub. And we love it.

    6 – Molinari’s

At Molinari’s, the focus is on orginality and freshness. That’s why they often change the menu to match the ingredients available at the time. A wonderful spread of Italian cuisine, Molinari’s packs a punch with antipasti, pizza, and spuntini we can’t get enough of. Plus pair one of the authentic dishes with wine or beer and we think your Friday just got that much better.

    7 – Stefano’s

Stefano’s restaurant has been family owned and operated in Bethlehem for over 34 years. There is something special about this place–with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, we love visiting this spot. And of course the food is incredible: some of our favorites include the Lobster Raviloli and the Formula Uno Pizza (a pizza with roasted red peppers, fresh garlic, mozzarella, ground sausage, and sauce). Plus finish with some gelato and your dinner is set!

    8 – Tapas on Main

This location based on Spanish cuisine is full of ecclectic flavor. With classic Tapas options (our favorites are “Gambas al Ajillo” – hand-battered crispy calamari with a lemon garlic aioli and “Croquetas de Maiz” – roasted corn and yuca croquettes with smoky gouda cheese sauce) and plently of flat breads, salads, and main courses (including their crazy-delicious Paella) you don’t want to miss out on this experience. Plus with one of the coziest bars on Main Street highlighting eight seasonal sangrias, ever-changing cocktails and an extensive wine list, how could you say no?

    9 – The Brick

Known for an amazing assortment of pizzas, The Brick is perfect for your next night out. But it isn’t only pizza that has us excited for dinner. The Brick has delicious options ranging from cheesteaks and burgers to calzones and pasta. Plus we can’t wait to pair one of the incredible cocktails with our meal like the Cannoli Martini–a martini with biscotti famosi, chocolate liqueur, cannoli cream, chocolate drizzle, and a cannoli pastry rim.

    10 – Twisted Olive

Fun, creative, and totally tasty, the Twisted Olive is home to some of our favorite flavors. The ever-changing menu full of innovative taste infusions is something that you don’t find just anywhere. We’re lovig the Bacon Wrapped Pork Mignon, the Potato Crusted Scallops, the Asian Tuna Panini, and the Twisted Blue Brisket. But it doesn’t stop there–with pizzas, salads, and a full-service bar available, we have a feeling you’ll have to stop by more than once to get the whole experience!

Make the most out of the cold months and indulge in what the local foodie scene has to offer. Are you ready for a tantalizing trek through flavors and tastes around town?
